Machine Setup Requirements
Because these tools use a thin 3mm shank, they cannot be mounted directly into standard 6mm or 8mm milling spindles without adapters:
· Chucks and Adapters: If running an HSMU (1kW) spindle, use adapter 42444083. If running an HPMU (3kW) or MultiCUT-HP unit, use adapter 42455675 to avoid excessive tool runout or snapping.
· Operating RPM: The 1.0mm and 1.5mm micro-tips require high spindle speeds (40,000 to 60,000 RPM) with conservative feed rates to prevent lateral stress breakage.
