During the cutting process, the cutting part of the tool is subject to great pressure, friction, impact and high temperature. The material of the cutting part of the tungsten steel blade should have the following properties to meet the basic requirements of the tungsten steel blade:
1. High hardness: the hardness of general tool materials should be above 60HRC.
2. Sufficient strength and toughness, also known as toughness, to withstand the impact and vibration during cutting, and reduce brittle fracture and chipping of the tool.
3. Good wear resistance, that is, the ability to resist wear, making the tool durable.
4. High heat resistance means that the tool can still maintain hardness, strength, toughness and wear resistance at high temperature.
5. The process performance is better. In order to facilitate the manufacture of the tool itself, the tungsten steel blade material should also have certain process properties, such as: cutting performance, grinding performance, welding performance and heat treatment performance.
