2. Replacement Steps

Always power off the device before changing tools to avoid injury from unexpected movement.

1. Remove the Holder: Loosen the retaining screw on the head unit and pull the blade holder out.

2. Extract the Old Blade: Unscrew the bottom cap of the holder. Carefully pull the old blade directly out. If it's stuck, use tweezers.

3. Insert the New Blade: Remove the protective rubber guard from the new blade. Insert it into the holder with the cutting edge facing outward.

4. Adjust Depth: Screw the cap back on. Twist the top of the holder to adjust the blade's protrusion.

1. Pro Tip: The blade should only extend enough to cut through the material without scoring the backing sheet (typically 0.1 mm or half the thickness of a credit card).

5. Reinstall: Place the holder back into the plotter head and tighten the screw.

3. Post-Replacement Calibration

After installing a new blade, always perform a test cut (like a square within a square).

· Too shallow? Increase the blade depth or cutting pressure.

· Cutting the backing? Retract the blade slightly.
